The type of personal information we receive from social media providers will differ depending on the nature of the dispute but will typically include a copy of the content \/ supporting content that is subject to the dispute; the platform\u2019s statement of reasons and its policy that is the subject of the user\u2019s dispute; and the date the content was enforced.<\/p>\n<p>The table below We will most typically share a unique reference number that the social media provider has created and assigned to you or, where this is unavailable, we will share content identifiers such as the account name, date, time and description of the disputed content.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Regulatory bodies:<\/strong>\u00a0We have legal obligations to provide regulators with information regarding the disputes we determine, but this information will be reported on an anonymised basis. There may be other exceptional circumstances where we are required to share personal information with law enforcement and \/ or regulators.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Service Providers:<\/strong>\u00a0We engage third party suppliers, including:\n<ul>\n<li>Payment service providers who help facilitate any financial transactions you make in relation to use of our process;<\/li>\n<li>Translation service providers and\/or tooling;<\/li>\n<li>Content delivery network services;<\/li>\n<li>Case review and research providers and\/or tooling;<\/li>\n<li>Back office administration service providers and\/or tooling.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 id=\"toc-heading-9\" class=\"underline\">International transfers of your personal information<\/h4>\n<p>Some of the recipients listed in\u00a0<strong>DISCLOSURE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION<\/strong>\u00a0above may be based outside the European Economic Area.<\/p>\n<p>Whenever we make transfers of your personal information, we implement appropriate safeguards in accordance with applicable data protection laws, e.g.,<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and additional measures to supplement such clauses as may be required in line with transfer impact assessments we carry out, to prevent interference by public authorities of third countries;<\/li>\n<li>by sending to countries that have an adequacy decision by the European Commission.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Any requests for information we receive from law enforcement or regulators will be carefully checked before personal information is disclosed. In specific circumstances we may also retain your personal information for longer periods of time so that we have an accurate record of your dealings with us in the event of any complaints or challenges, or if we reasonably believe there is a prospect of litigation relating to your personal information or dealings with us.<\/p>\n<p>Where your personal information is no longer required, we will ensure it is either securely deleted or stored in a way which means it will no longer be used by the business.<\/p>\n<p>We have implemented and maintain appropriate technical and organisational security measures, policies and procedures designed to reduce the risk of accidental destruction or loss, or the unauthorised disclosure or access to such information appropriate to the nature of the information concerned. As the security of information depends in part on the security of the computer you use to communicate with us and the security you use to protect User IDs and passwords, please take appropriate measures to protect this information.<\/p>\n<h4 id=\"toc-heading-11\" class=\"underline\">Your rights and how to exercise them<\/h4>\n<p>You have several rights in relation to your personal information set out in this section. In certain circumstances these rights may not be absolute, as they depend on our reason for processing your personal information. You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights, although we may charge a reasonable fee if your request is unfounded, repetitive or excessive. We have one month to respond to you (unless you have made a number of requests or your request is complex, in which case we may take up to an extra two months to respond).<\/p>\n<p>Please note that, where we ask you for proof of identification, the one-month time limit does not begin until we have received this. If we require any clarification and\/or further information on the scope of the request, the one-month deadline is paused until we receive that information.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Access:<\/strong><br \/>\nYou can ask us to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>confirm whether we are processing your personal information;<\/li>\n<li>give you a copy of that data;<\/li>\n<li>provide you with other information about your personal information such as what data we have, what we use it for, who we disclose it to, whether we<\/li>\n<li>transfer it abroad and how we protect it, how long we keep it for, what rights you have, how you can make a complaint, where we got your data from etc., to the extent that information has not already been provided to you in this Policy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Rectification:<\/strong><br \/>\nYou can ask us to rectify inaccurate personal information. We may seek to verify the accuracy of the data before rectifying it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Erasure:<\/strong><br \/>\nYou can ask us to erase your personal information, but only where:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>it is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was collected; or<\/li>\n<li>you have withdrawn your consent (where the data processing was based on consent); or<\/li>\n<li>following a successful right to object (see \u2018Objection\u2019 below); or<\/li>\n<li>it has been processed unlawfully; or<\/li>\n<li>to comply with a legal obligation to which we are subject.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We are not required to comply with your request to erase your personal information if the processing of your personal information is necessary:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>for compliance with a legal obligation; or<\/li>\n<li>for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Restriction:<\/strong><br \/>\nYou can ask us to restrict (i.e. keep but not use) your personal information, but only where:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>its accuracy is contested (see \u201cRectification\u201d above), to allow us to verify its accuracy; or<\/li>\n<li>the processing is unlawful, but you do not want it erased; or<\/li>\n<li>it is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was collected, but we still need it to establish, exercise or defend legal claims; or<\/li>\n<li>you have exercised the right to object, and verification of overriding grounds is pending.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We can continue to use your personal information following a request for restriction, where:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>we have your consent; or<\/li>\n<li>to establish, exercise or defend legal claims; or<\/li>\n<li>to protect the rights of another natural or legal person.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Portability:<\/strong><br \/>\nYou can ask us to provide your personal information to you in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format or you can ask to have it \u2018ported\u2019 directly to another data controller, but in each case only where:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the processing is based on your consent or on the performance of a contract with you; an<\/li>\n<li>the processing is carried out by automated means.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Objection:<\/strong><br \/>\nYou can object to any processing of your personal information which has our \u2018legitimate interests\u2019 as its legal basis (see\u00a0<strong>Personal information we collect, when and why we use it, and our lawful basis for processing it<\/strong>\u00a0above) if you believe your fundamental rights and freedoms outweigh our legitimate interests.<\/p>\n<p>Once you have objected, we have an opportunity to demonstrate that we have compelling legitimate interests which override your rights and freedoms.<\/p>\n<p><strong>International Transfers:<\/strong><br \/>\nYou can ask to obtain a copy of, or reference to, the safeguards under which your personal information is transferred outside of the European Economic Area.
